1/ Keep a few tucked away in the car. Use them as litter bags to hold empty soda bottles, fast food wrappers or any kind of trash that you may accumulate. Keep you car cleaner by putting very dirty shoes in the bags after soccer practice.

2/ Reuse them several times by taking them back to the store with you when you shop. There’s no need to buy a reusable tote.

3/ Recycle the old plastic bags when they start to fall apart. Look for a recycling container at the grocery store where you shop.

4/ Create something new. Old plastic bags can be cut and then knitted or crocheted. You can make everything from doormats to placemats or create a new bag. The possibilities are endless.

5/ Plastic bags make good packing material for small items. The bags are lightweight, pack tightly, conform to the contours of whatever you are sending and are often the perfect packing choice.

There are many ways to reuse a plastic bag.

To get started, here are just five of those ways:

1. Use them as trash can liners. Why buy new garbage bags when you can just reuse the ones you already have from the grocery store? It’s cheaper, less wasteful, and more convenient (you don’t have to go and get more bags).

2. Reuse them as grocery bags, again. If you don’t have a cloth bag, why not reuse your old plastic bags? They worked once; they’ll work again, provided they’re not ripped.

3. Use them as storage bags. We all have things to store. Consider using a plastic bag to store them. They’re more squishable and can fit into tighter spaces more easily than boxes.

4. Use plastic bags for packaging. If your boxes are full of fragile things (especially when moving or shipping) and need a little more cushioning, roll up a few plastic bags and stuff them in.

5. Pack your lunch for tomorrow in a plastic bag. It’s quick and easy and works wonderfully for soup, which can leak easily without you knowing it!

While there are many ways to reuse plastic bags, you may find your stock is still increasing more than it’s decreasing. Owning a cloth bag should help alleviate this problem, but, nonetheless, if you have more plastic bags than you know what to do with, recycle them. There are recycling bins for plastic bags outside of many grocery stores; get rid of your excess bags there.

6. Use a plastic bag to pick up after your dog-if you have a dog. After all, you shouldn’t leave it behind, and plastic bags are free and disposable. Why spend money on bags you’ll be throwing out immediately? Don’t. Use something you already have instead.

7. Store your dirty travel clothes in a plastic bag. This is for when you’re on the road and don’t have the chance to do laundry – but still don’t want your filthy, stinky clothes affecting your nice clean ones in your suitcase. It’s smaller and lighter than other bags, and easier to store. It also won’t leave the smell behind.

With the bags you decide to keep, find new ways to make them useful. This list is a short one. Look up other ideas or try to come up with some of your own. Just don’t let those plastic bags go to waste.

We cannot deny the benefits we can get from plastic baggages. They are very light which make handling of any things easier. They are very economical as they cost only a cent per piece. They are strong and durable in which they can hold even heavy and massive materials. And they are multipurpose wherein you can do so much in one plastic.

Yet still problems arise because plastic bags are not so friendly for the environment. It takes years for them to decompose and all they leave are litters everywhere. Here are the major problems the world is facing because of plastic bags:

1. Land problems – tons of plastic trash bags clutter the landfills. Because it would take hundreds of years before they break down naturally, they build up into mountains of garbage. Sanitation problems occur, so as messy, odor-full dump areas.

2. Water problems – there is an increasing amount of plastics clogging the drainage. This will then result to flood problems when rainy day comes. Another is they contaminate the oceans by their toxins and poison marine animals if they are mistaken as food.

3. Air problems – plastic bags when burned emit harmful toxins that are dangerous for the health if inhaled. They are also destructive for the atmosphere because production of plastics requires gallons of petroleum.

While these problems are being addressed to officially one by one, we can take our part by personally solving plastic bag problems in our household. Here are 3 tips we can consider doing:

1. Minimize the use of plastic bags either by first, use paper shopping bags which are biodegradable and eco-friendly; or second, reuse plastic shopping bags by not accepting new ones anymore in the store. We can bring our own bag every time we shop and we can conserve plastics.

2. Recycle plastic bags in many creative ways. Some create it as tote bag, renew it as a pouch, or remake it as a wallet. Several grocery stores are also collecting plastic bags for recycling. There are also recycling programs in various areas in which you can learn how to recycle.

3. Turn to biodegradable plastic bags. Biodegradable plastics are widely accepted and available to conserve energy and solve pollution problems. These plastics are often used for food bags, plant bags and shopping bags. Because they can easily decompose, they are not posing risks to the environment.

The first big thing for one to be informed on air compressors is what they are really. Air is among the hardest things to harness, but it surely is one of the strongest things. The wind is something that you can’t see and you can’t really touch, but it really is capable of amazing things when it is blowing hard enough. This is exactly what an air compressor really is. It can be a way for you to harness the air and work with it.

There are many different sorts of air compressors. Many of them are utilized in building and creating, and a variety of them are used in order to convert air to things that you can easliy use, like breathable gas. Generally, they work in the same manner. The chamber is pressurized, this kind of pressure is what leads to the harnessing of the air. Because the way that the chambers inside of the machine work, and due to its very small nozzles, the air is forced out with great speed. Which means the air compressors can be hooked up to anything then the air can be utilised. The air compressors themselves simply gather the air into them after which press the air very tightly. The machines are able to do this through pressure. When the air has been held tightly, it may be released and can be very powerful.

You may use the air compressors for lots of things. One thing that it’s useful for would be hook up to your nail gun. This helps to drive the nails in the wall in a much faster and stronger pace than a hammer. You possibly can build something considerably faster using this method and it is going to be much easier for you to use.

A air compressor is also utilized in things like washing. It can be installed to spray washers or other items so when the air is released, the washers will do their job much better. This way, the air works to propel the water and it can get done with more speed.

There are also air compressors that aide people. For example, probably the most popular types of air compressors will be the kind that converts the gasses into breathable air so that a person can go diving and still be able to breathe. This is usually a very popular sort of air compressors and it works in the same way.

Whatever kind of air compressors you have, you have to know several things about keeping them. To start with, you have to read the directions for the particular air compressors that you have thoroughly, because it is very dangerous to work with air compressors in ways for which they aren’t intended. You have to be very sure that they are only used because they really should be used, and that they are always supervised.

This is certainly another important thing to not forget. Air compressors are often very dangerous due to the air that may shoot out of them and even what they may very well be hooked up to. Air compressors themselves can be quite dangerous. Should they be exposed to an excessive amount of heat, excessively cold, or even to sharp objects, they can explode. They are able to be damaged, plus they could potentially cause much damage, Therefore, you have to be sure you are never using them incorrectly as well as that you are always storing them in exactly the right manner. This will help you make the best from your air compressors and make everyone safe.

Safety has to be your the top concern, which is also an important element of keeping the air compressors around for along time. These are generally very costly machines, so when you find yourself using them you need to be able to do this for years. You don’t want to have to buy new air compressors each and every time the demand pops up, so if you can keep those that you may have in good working order, you’ll be much happier. So have them used correctly, stored properly, and outside of harms way. By doing this, you’ll be sure the air compressors which you have are around for along time and that they’ll regularly be good for you.

We have witnessed such great changes in our environment that various problems and disasters appeared one by one. Among those problems and disasters, environmental pollution has become one of the most critical ones which attract people’s attention, especially “white pollution”. To alleviate “white pollution”, the government of China has made various efforts such as the ban against the use of plastic bags. However, as is pointed out by some people, it did not turn out as well as we expected. There are two main reasons contribute to the failure of the ban against the use of plastic bags.

On one hand, the current relevant laws are not strict enough to resolve the problem. Although the ban against the use of plastic bags has been published in 2008, amounts of plastic bags are still being used in supermarkets of big cities or countryside market place. Some supermarkets even still offer free plastic bags to consumers in order to attract more consumers. On the other hand, some individuals do not think it useful to just save several plastic bags. Because compared with the consumption of them all over the world, the individual’s power is insignificant.

We can see that ants, weak as each one is, can drive or even kill their gigantic enemies who are hundreds times bigger and stronger than them. So we should not have to worry about our power if we unite. We also can do a great deal to help our environment from being polluted and therefore destroyed. I am convinced that with joint efforts the white pollution would be solved and we will live in a more beautiful world.

Plastic bags are widely used for carrying purchases for they are lightweight, strong, cheap, functional, and also hygienic. But, do you know that they are very harmful for environment? These bags have great contribution to causing pollution and killing wildlife. In addition, they are responsible for using up the natural resources of the earth.

In the USA, plastic bags which are used each year reach about a hundred billion. It means that the non-biodegradable rubbish is a hundred billion as well. Along with some other waste which is decomposed non-biodegradable, can you imagine how many waste produced each year? It is only a little practice fact in the US. What about in another populous country such as China and India? There will be plenty of waste produced without being biodegradable.

All those waste above can contribute to some effects on the environment. You can see some of the effects in the following account.

Plastic bags are one of the main factors which litter the landscape. From year to year, these bags have been extensively used and ended up to littering the environment such as parks, streets, waterways, beaches, and some other places. In addition, if burned, they will infuse the surrounding air with the toxic fumes.

They can also kill the animal. A shocking fact is that they have killed for about 100,000 species of animals including turtles, whales, dolphins, and also penguins. Those animals are died since they ingest them as their wrong food. The worse news is that the plastic still remains even after decomposition of the animal.

Plastic bags become one of the major problems since they are non-biodegradable. Totally, the decomposition for plastic takes around 1,000 years. It means that these bags will remain as garbage along those years. With all the plastic rubbish produced each day, plastic rubbish problem will never be resolved well.

Furthermore, plastic bags use up the petroleum. It is the main material which is used for creating the plastic. With large production of plastic bags each day, there are a lot of non-renewable natural source used up. On the other hand, it is one of the main resources which are highly needed for daily energy supply. In other words, plastic bag will also spend the natural resource. Then, why should we spend the important natural resource for producing plastic?

It seems like there is no right solution for this problem. However, you can try to minimize the use of plastic bags by using single plastic bag for daily use. Although it is only a very small amount, it will help. Another good solution is to recycle the plastic. It can be recycled into the products for various purposes such as the garbage bins.

For efficient work and production, companies make use of machines. Industrial air compressors are helpful machines used in large companies to increase their production. This machine has a lot of uses that is why before you purchase one, you need to know certain considerations. If you are a contractor, there are specific points that you must take into account before you will finally decide because you have think that work will be affected if you will not choose the right equipment.

There are a lot of trustworthy brands of this kind of machine with air compressor parts that are easy to find when you need some spare. A good number of manufacturers have marked credibility in this line of machines that you will not have any difficulty in choosing one. All you need to remember is to think of the quality and the cost of the machine if it is worth buying and if the service of the suppliers is quality guaranteed.

On the purchase of industrial air compressors, your first move is to specifically mention what you need so that you will lessen your choices on a few brands. This will make you choose the perfect one. You must specifically mention what type of power you will use for your machine. From the three sources, gas, natural gas and electric-powered, mention this to the store where you are buying.

In addition you have to mention the horsepower that you need it to have with the specific size of the tank. If you would use it for larger production then larger tank would then be required. As a contractor, it is also within your knowledge that you can mention the flow rate that you want your machine to have. Through this, you will get the specific tasks that you want for your industrial air compressors.

Air compressor spares is also recommended especially if you use the machine frequently. It is best to have parts readily available in case some repair is needed. Production can be affected if you will not solve the problem instantly. A portable air compressor is also better if you need to transfer from one construction site to another. However if you do not need to bring it to another area then there is no need for a portable one.

Moreover you might want to consider the prices of the industrial air compressors. With the specific points that you have mentioned, compare the prices on the different brands. If one costs too much, inquire about its features because maybe it costs a lot due to the special features that it possesses and more importantly it can help you with your work.

The most popular surviving form of brassware is probably the domestic candlestick. These were made usually in pairs, and are rarely older than the middle of the seventeenth century. At that time they were on domed circular bases, with a pan to catch drips of wax halfway up the stout central column. Early in the eighteenth century, shaped bases and tall stems with grease-pans at the very top came into fashion. With variations from time to time, this style continued in use until the candle was no longer the principal illuminant in the home.

Metal works
Brass was made into dishes of various sizes, often with embossed designs of Biblical scenes with inscriptions on the borders. These are sometimes still to be seen in use as alms-dishes in churches.

Chandeliers of brass with curved branching arms were made in England and also on the Continent. Many of them date from the seventeenth century, but most have been made more recently in response to continual demand.

Ormolu
This is the French name (literally or moulu, molded gold) for articles and furniture mounts made of bronze and gilded. The piece having been made in bronze was carefully and finely finished by chiseling and polishing and then coated with a mixture of mercury and gold. This amalgam was subjected to heat and the mercury evaporated leaving the gold deposited on the surface. Finally, the gold was burnished where required, or left matt.

The French developed the art of designing and making furniture mounts from ormolu, and were equally proficient at making clock cases, candlesticks, inkstands and other suitable pieces from the same material. Much thought was given to the mounting of porcelain in ormolu, and vases and figures with bases and other enhancements were valued highly for decoration. They fetch high prices today, but only if the mounts are genuinely of the eighteenth century. From 1745 to 1749 a tax was levied on ormolu, and pieces were stamped in a similar manner to silver. The mark is a letter ‘c’ beneath a crown, but as it was in use apparently for no more than four years specimens bearing it is rare.

German ormolu is not dissimilar to French, although seldom as highly finished. In England, the firm of Boulton and Fothergill, of Soho, Birmingham, made good ormolu at the end of the eighteenth century.

Old ormolu is sometimes found with the gilding in good condition, but frequently it is worn away on the surfaces exposed to by wear and tear; its greatest enemy is metal-polish, which should never be used on it. As with Sheffield plate, ormolu can be replated electrically but the appearance of the old cannot be reproduced exactly.

Beside brass ormolu, the French for articles and furniture mounts made of bronze and gilded, developed the French name. They developed the art of designing and making furniture mounts from this ormolu and they were equally proficient at making clock cases, candlesticks, inkstands and other suitable pieces from this material. Then the German and the English followed later on in the eighteenth.
